I've been going to this place for more than a year now and I figured it would be just perfect for my first Yelp review. My boyfriend and I always found that there was a lack of good Asian cuisine in this area. Enter Life Pho. This little hole in the wall is going to be your new go-to for Vietnamese. I always get the small seafood pho, which is lighter than your typical beef pho. And between the variety of fresh fixings and sauces, the endless meat and noodles, and the flavorful broth, we always keep coming back at least once a week. Even in the summer! The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. Not to mention, the prices are great too. If you are looking for a different type of fare for date night, I cannot recommend this place enough.

It was phofastic! My pho smelled like the streets of Saigon - took me right back! The noodles were cooked to perfection, not soggy and an interesting crunch to it. The noodles were also somewhat sweet. My sister was not too fond of that, but it was perfect for me since I added a lot of sriracha to my pho. Take it as you will. The broth was beautiful - totally delicious and fresh! The large was very phofilling (lots of noodles for your buck)! Would highly recommend!

This is an authentic mom and pop Vietnamese joint, period. I'm so glad that they opened up here in the Annapolis/Severna Park/Pasadena area, a.k.a where authentic Asian food comes to die. Life Pho is a shiny glimmer of hope that when good authentic Asian food that isn't Americanized, commercialized or dumbed down, people can appreciate it and will come to eat. I personally love the Pho and if you're really adventurous, the Bun Bo Hue. The Pho is a safe bet but it's authentic taste, cuts of meat and execution is what separates Life Pho from other viet places. The Bun Bo Hue is so authentic I can't even... Not only is the broth good, the cuts of meat are right and it's perfectly spicy, albeit not American spicy. I just love this place and come here frequently. The price is also amazing. I would put Life Pho up against any Viet restaurant in the Northern Virginia area where pho restaurants run rampant. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

I was in the Annapolis area, starving, and craving Asian food, when I happened on this little hole-in-the-wall pho restaurant. I ordered Bun Bo Hue, which was $11.25. It came in a LARGE bowl, with perfectly cooked noodles, beef, other meats, all in a delicious, well-seasoned spicy broth and with bean sprouts/basil/lime on the side. Despite my extreme hunger, I felt completely full after eating only half of the bowl because of all of it's contents. Even so, I wanted to keep eating, because it was just THAT delicious. Definitely worth a try. I loved it and cannot wait to go back for more.

Very fresh and reasonably priced. I reaaaallly wanted thai tea with boba... but they were out... so I was super disappointed. The beef in #34 and the kids beef was reallly tastey. I would def go back there for that. The spicy beef soup was ... spicy but not unbearable and it was seasoned to perfection. I'll be back.

Omg this pho is so great it is insane. My fav hole in the wall spot for pho. Service is always great and fast.

Good quality and decently priced. Very quick and friendly service. Ordered Pho, spring rolls and shrimp appetizer and it was all delicious. So glad to have found a great Pho place in the area! It's definitely going to be my go to place and can't wait to try some of the other dishes.

Bottom Line: Family run Pho restaurant serving delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Ever since I had the honor of attending my friends' wedding featuring traditional Vietnamese food I have been in love with the cuisine of that country and often craving Pho. Given that, I am excited to see a Pho place in Severna Park that offers much more than Pho. Here's what I really like about Life Pho" - The people working here are very warm and friendly. Often I feel like I am dining in a family's home rather than a restaurant in a strip mall. - For those unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine, they have lots of pictures on the menu. :-) And if you are not fluent in Vietnamese, you can order by number. (Phew!) - The food here is flavorful and light. I might smell a little odd when I leave here but I never feel like I just ate some fatty, heavy, rich meal. - I've had a variety of dishes here and so far my favorites are the summer rolls (of course) and the grilled beef with an eggroll, veggies and vermicelli.

The food is inconsistent. I have been twice. Both times I ordered the same thing, veggie spring roll and veggie pho. The first time the spring roll was stuffed with sprouts, mint, and freshly fried tofu with a standard soy peanut sauce. The second time it had marinated shredded carrots, chopped iceberg lettuce, and a small amount of tofu served with hoisin sauce with peanuts on top. The pho changed too. The first time the pho had grilled firm silken tofu, this time it had previously cooked fried tofu pieces, you know--the kind you buy from the refrigerated section of an Asian market. Both times the broth was awesome and kind of made up for the food. I don't know, it's like they are insulting the diners intelligence by substituting ingredients or maybe people don't notice stuff like this. I like knowing what I am getting when I order from a menu and sit down to eat. At home, I might toss random vegetables and call it soup, it is just a little odd, to me, for a restaurant to do the same thing. Another thing, the servers were a little young and actually play wrestling with each other and saying things like, 'hey, we should stop, we have customers'. Weird place. I won't be back I'll stick to other pho places and/or my kitchen.

I was so excited when I found out a pho place had sprouted up in SP! Previously, the closest pho place was in Glen Burnie, but now there's one close to home. Clean interior, delicious food, and reasonable prices. My favorite part is that all the vegetables taste really fresh- as if they were picked up from the store that morning. Definitely don't ever get the feeling I'm eating frozen veggies. AACC students and Military get 15% off discount, so bring your ID!

Very good tasting food that is fresh and well priced. Nice people and ample parking. I've been here twice. Both times I had the grilled pork with egg roll and vermicelli. Fresh vegetables. I would have given them five stars but they put something in their food which makes my mouth and lips chapped and sore - too much sodium? They give big portions and the second time I couldn't finish the meal because my mouth started to get a bit burned by the sodium - it isn't too salty. Maybe they are using too much meat tenderizer?? I don't like MSG but I don't think they are using MSG.

Can't believe that I'm actually trying a pho place after my last experience, but what the heck I'll try it one more time ..... So far so good: clean , filled tables, each table equipped with chop sticks, pho spoons , hoisin sauce, hot sauce, and even a special red hot sauce in a bowl. The server was really knowledgeable about each item on the menu and was able to guide me through being that I am a vegetarian. We began with egg rolls for appetizers. They were plated with a touch of shredded purple cabbage and a hot and sour sauce. A little greasy but the crunchiness of the outer layer was maintained with the inside just melting in your mouth. For the main coarse I ordered the vegetarian pho. It was fantastic tasting. With each mouthful a burst of different flavors were noted. From the vegetable stock , to the vegetables themselves , and the tofu, each in there own shined.

Good food at a good price. It's not the best I've had, but it's the best I've had in Anne Arundel County.

well, if you like authentic Vietnamese food, you will love this place. Small, friendly, inexpensive, super friendly staff and D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S Vietnamese food. Lot's of peoples rating this place thinking they do Chinese food, fools. Discount for Navy Mids/AACC student. Thank you

A much needed addition to the severna park restaurant scene. Great pho and summer rolls (we love them so much we've ordered the same thing all 5+ times we've been there). Service is fast, food is cheap and delicious. My husband and I each get the small pho plus an order of summer rolls and can never finish!

Amazing noodle soup! The broth was excellent! Portions of noodle, meat and vegetable were perfect! I had the egg noodle soup and it tasted like it does in Thailand. Service was fast and friendly! The prices are appropriate. If you're in the military, they give a 15% discount! Love that they support the troops! Every time I'm in the area, I'm stopping by ... I want to try everything!

Great pho, good ambiance and great prices. I came here many times for lunch while working in Arnold once I discovered it. Unless you are very very hungry, I would get the small bowl because it is large enough for a good sized meal. I am a vegetarian and life pho has some of the best vegetarian pho I have ever had!

We just found this place last week and we have eaten here twice! The food is fantastic and the staff is very helpful! My kids love the shrimp and the egg rolls. We love the Pho! My only complaint is it's really cold inside! Take in a jacket!!

I went for a second time last night and it was very, very good. I like that water is automatically brought to the table. Our server was a bit condescending while discussing thai iced tea (which I've had numerous times before) but thought I wanted the Vietnamese coffee....No I wanted the thai iced Tea. Ah well.... The hot tea is reasonable at $0..95/ pot. I'd go back. It's cleaner than Ms. Saigon in Glen Burnie...

This is our GO TO Pho place in the area. It is always fresh, delicious and cheap. I generally always get the Summer rolls and #2 Pho. Kelly is the best as well!

Sprouts crispy, large shrimp, juicy chicken and flavorful broth. You can walk out of there feeling full yet light. Not may places can you achieve the 'full feeling' and not have to lie down due to the amazing amount of butter and salt they toss in. This place was light and enjoyable. Cannot WAIT to go back!

  • Lhoi R.

The place is neat and has a "homey" vibe. Service is fast and the food is better than the other pho place in the area. I had fresh vegetarian roll on my previous visit- the sauce is great but the wrap is a little but thick & chewy, and now I am having fried vegetable roll which has good flavor & crunchy but a bit greasy, sauce is the regular bottled sweet & sour .The pho ga/ mi ga (chicken noodle soup/ egg noodle) was very good. I always take out Grilled chicken and it's always tender & tasty. Has Military discount too.

Went there today for the first time for a take-out Pho and loved it!! Delicious and plentiful for just over $9. Two people could have shared this. They do have a whole lot of other dishes, too, but I absolutely love that kind of soup, so it's hard for me to order anything else when there is Pho on the menu! Too bad it's a little tricky to get to (it's kind of tucked away in a strip mall off of Ritchie Hwy) or I would stop there after work a lot (I work down the road). Well maybe it's a good thing it's a little inconvenient LOL. Place was actually pretty busy with eat-in customers, too, when I stopped by - only had to wait minutes for my soup, though, which was much appreciated!! Go. I recommend. And will be back!!! PS: I'm pretty sure you got the name misspelled, Yelp - it says "Live" Pho on their sign, not "Life"

I love pho. I love how a rich, flavorful broth with its meaty, veggie counterparts can warm hearts and brighten days. So it's a bit of an understatement to say that I was ecstatic to see a pho place open in little old Severna Park. First time - order of summer rolls (banging!), a small #7 (decent) and a small #1 (decent, though the meatballs were weird). My heart warmed a little bit. Second time - in need of spice, ordered a small #39. Initial response - fantastic, warming, all that jazz. A few hours later? Holy MSG, the sodium! My lips were chapped, my tongue was screaming for water, and I could not make that sensation go away. Nor could my companion. Terrible. Third time - yes, I went back. I believe that in times of sickness, spicy food cures all. But I branched out and ordered the #35 (amazing!!). Best decision I could have made. The meat was flavorful, the noodles fresh, the veggies crisp, and the eggroll the perfect fried bit to balance out the meal. My heart caught fire and my stomach sang songs of gurgley praise. So although Life Pho isn't perfect, it has become a welcome addition to the lacking SP food scene. Just beware of the meatballs and the sodium, and you'll be alright. And try the vermicelli, love the vermicelli.

Life Pho is among the best Pho places I have ever eaten. I am partial to the Pho Ga (chicken pho), and theirs is amazing. Depth of flavor in the broth is amazing. I also like the shrimp and vermicelli. AND most importantly their summer rolls are divine. In addition to the food, the staff is extremely friendly. During our last visit, our waiter was not only pleasant, but he had a great sense of humor. I can't say I have ever laughed openly during a pho dinner previously. This is just one more reason I love this place!

Today was my second visit to Life Pho in Severna Park. The first time I ate in and got the seafood soup. It was delicious and had awesome fishy flavor and was so well priced. This time I got carry out. I ordered the "Special" Eye-round, brisket, tripe and tendon along with summer rolls and the grape leaf wrapped beef. Carry out was super fast (10 min) and was just as delicious as eating in. I received sauces.... though I'd never throw a over-privledge rage over missing a side of Siracha. Also the 15% discount for anyone with an AACC ID is just a bonus!

SP has needed a Pho spot for a while, and this is a very welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Tucked into the Food Lion shopping center (going south it's on your right, vise versa for north) you'll find Life Pho. The interior is welcoming and spacious with a variety of tables throughout the establishment (Though I took my order to go, I will be coming back to dine in). The food itself is on par with most Pho spots; however, the price verse value far exceeds what most locations give / offer. A small shrimp with clear pho ran about $7 and was enough to fill two people up (I can only imagine what a large is like). 4 stars, a great new addition to the area and worth the drive to it.

  • Jen H.

Visited based on Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Pho Ga and the Bun (vermicelli noodles) with pork and eggroll. I got carry out, but the place has a nice cozy feel to it. I'll definitely be back to dine-in. The portions were good and prices reasonable.

I love Pho and I love Pho Life (I renamed it because that's what our family calls it). You can't beat the quality of he soup for the place and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. One of my family's favorite spots.

  • Vida O.

I really want to love this place because the place is super clean and the menu is perfect and they have a kids menu which is half the price and size and it applies to every dish!!!! How awesome is that! And they have a military discount. The bowl of pho is huge and when you order a large you definitely get a lot!! But I have to say that they added way too much MSG in the soup there. I didn't even realize until I got home and started getting super thirsty. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to MSG. I really wish places would advertise that they use it because some people have allergies and my mouth was feeling so funny afterwards. I practically downed a gallon of water and I had an allergic skin reaction. If they just toned it down a bit with that this place could be a hit! I would love to come back but maybe this time I will try just a vermicelli dish and no broth.

  • Scott M.

I love Pho and this place is a great local Pho spot. It is a newer place, modern and has a young waitstaff that is energetic and friendly. The broth is top-notch. Only complaint is they do not put a lot of meat in the soup.

Found out about this place a weekend ago using the "Around Me" feature in this app, bookmarked it and man, can I say this place lived up to the reviews. Great food, nice and clean. My kid sister and I each had the #34 grilled pork and vermicelli-delish- and we split the eye of round Pho. First time trying Pho, wasn't really a fan maybe I'll give it a go again sometime. The grilled pork however, so delicious and tender, my 3yo kept asking for more. I give this place 4 stars for food, cost and cleanliness, left off a star which I wish could make a half only because the server had to be flagged down several times to get our check, came to give it, forgot it, came to get it again and took a minute to get it back. Other than that, everything was great. Will definitely be back!

My wife had the Chicken Pho and I had the Beef and Vermicelli and vegetables. I was surprised how flavourful, light, and overall pleasing the beef dish was. Perfect portion size and lived every bite. My wife loved the Chicken Pho and would only let me stale one bite of it. Service and decor was great as well. Will definitely visit again soon...

Worst restaurant EVER! So I ordered two soups from this vietnamese restaurant for take-out. Before I left, I asked the lady twice if all the appropriate sauces were with the order. She said yes. When I got home, no sauce! I really couldn't eat much of the soup without the hoisin sauce & sriracha (which not only were for flavor but to help with my head cold), so I called right away to complain. And that's when I found out how unprofessional these people are! First, the guy I spoke to (An), said he would have the manager contact me, but never took my name or number. Then I called back, and spoke to a girl that claimed to be an Assistant Manager. She refused to give me her name, told me in a very angry tone that it was the kitchen's fault that I didn't get the sauces, then passed the phone back to An, and bitched at him for making her take my call (she didn't even have the decency to put me on mute or hold)! Not just unprofessional, but completely insulting! I will never go back here!

Im really picky when it come to phos but this place is absolutely amazing. The pho broths are tastety! Staffs are nice and restaueant are super clean. The price is very fair! As a regular customer, I am sad to say that the restaurant has raised their prices. It makes me want to go there less often. Their prices were reasonable before. Why raiser the prices? Even though I'm disappointed about rhat, the food is still amazing with great service.

Great spot for comfort food and yummy noodles. I love that they have their menu items available in a children's size. I tried the summer rolls which were really fresh and tasty. My vermicelli with pork hit the spot and was a huge portion. The pho my husband ordered looked and smelled delicious. He said it was really good. The staff is very friendly and the prices can't be beat. This is clean, convenient and checks all the right boxes for a family night out for noodles. Once I try the pho for myself, I may have to update to 5 stars.

  • David N.

I really wish we could go 1/2 stars, in this case it would be 2.5. But this is a new restaurant so I'll give them the bump. First and foremost is the food. They have pho w/tripe and tendons! You can't get much more authentic than that. I will admit that I know little about pho and have only had it a couple of time. Kelly knows pho and she says its really good. I really enjoyed it. Flavorful, large and inexpensive (kind of like me, ha ha). The spring roll w/peanut sauce was equally as good. So for food, a solid 4 star effort. Where this place really needs to focus is customer service. We were one of maybe 4 tables. There were two servers. I had to ask for a drink refill. Which never came. I had to remind the server. On the second attempt, he delivered and we requested a refill for Kelly. That refill never came. We were finished for while and I had to go to the server to ask for my check. Even though the place was not busy, neither server could be bothered to bus dirty tables from previous customers. I watched several times as orders were taken and food was delivered, the servers would just walk by the empty tables and not pick up plates or dishes. Also, this place has a TV. If I want to watch TV I'll eat at home or at a sports bar. They were playing Disney's Cars. Fortunately the volume was kept at a reasonable level. We will be back as it's the only place in town to get pho, I just hope they step up the service a bit.

I don't know if tasty means more salt and more sweets. My pho noodle soup was tasty but I think it is loaded with salt. My Thai tea that's supposed to come with tapiaca pieces but did not have, had an amount of sweet condensed milk. The food and drink were all good, however, I think the food is definitely packed with lots of calories due to these ingredients. It's good to eat here once in a while but not for life.

  • William C.

I was really looking forward to coming here after reading the reviews, but the poor service just made a sub-par bowl of pho worse. The broth for the pho was bland, and the presentation of the ingredients given was a glob of noodles (which stuck together, so i'm guessing it wasn't cooked to order-correct me if i'm wrong). The meat that was served over it was a chunk of supermarket sliced meat that hadn't been separated and just plopped right on top. I was one of two tables in the restaurant, so i expected some effort to be placed into the prep of my pho (perhaps my standards have been raised too high by the run-down pho joints in Queens) With respect to their service, the only interaction i had with the waiter was when he tossed the napkins and cup of water of water onto my table (i'd consider this normal treatment...by a wait staff that's busy), when he took my order, and when i requested the bill. Other than that, i'd recommend this place if there is no other place to get pho around here in MD. But i'll stick with my chinese take out in the meantime. Note: the waitress seems to give a crap, but the waiter just seemed stuck up and inattentive. I may have just gotten the rotten one out of the duo

This is not just the only Pho place I've found in the area, but its the BEST one I've had! Other then in DC where there are many pho options, I love the food here. Its affordable and has really good flavors. It may be tucked away in a shopping center but you will not be disapointed if you like Vietnamese food!

Living in Bowie, there aren't ANY quality places that serve pho. I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this place and would give 2.5 stars if i could. First, the spot is very clean, nice and I was greeted immediately and served water. I ordered the summer roll and large chicken pho. But came out fairly fast. The summer roll was. ..ok. It was a basic roll, but had pork in it. Cool concept, but didn't add to the overall flavor. The peanut sauce was delish though. What disappointed me was the pho. There was A LOT of chicken and noodles. But very stingy on the accoutrements, (Bean sprouts, basil etc...). The broth however was FLAVORLESS. Clear broth, which I love, but tasted very flat and plain. I didn't want to finish it. Damn, I miss Montgomery county. They have the best pho in the dmv.

I havent eaten much Pho in my life, but for my first go around I was impressed. We split a shrimp spring roll, my hubs got the spicy beef and pork soup and I got the chicken soup. Both served with pho. Good, not anything I would rave about. Nice atmosphere, and perfect for a chilly night out. We did not get the rice dishes but I've heard they are pretty good as well. Friendly wait staff, great service and we both left very satisfied for UNDER $25! They have take out too, which we will definitely be utilizing! For a satisfying, affordable and quick comfort meal - this place is great.

Been there 6 times since opening and had 6 great experiences! I have had Pho from almost every Pho place in Maryland and N.VA and it really does not get better than this. THEY NOW DO HAVE A VEGGIE BROTH!!!!

  • Emily G.

Brand new place, with young, friendly folks to wait on you. I had #21, the name of which I can't remember, but it consisted of shrimp and bite-sized egg rolls on salad and rice noodles. He had shrimp pho. Here's why I didn't order the tofu & veg pho, which is what I had zeroed in on at first: All the phos are made with beef broth and therefore no good for vegetarians (or pescatarians.) That was my main gripe. Not even a veg section on the otherwise-lengthy menu, and that seems a pretty significant oversight these days. Still, our dishes were tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

This was my first experience with Vietnamese food and I really loved it. I had the shrimp and beef with vermicelli and found the dish to be light, fresh, and full of flavor. They have chopsticks and soup spoons on the table (don't worry - if you're in need of a fork they offer it up saving you the embarrassment of having to ask), along with a variety of additional sauces. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive, speedily bringing drink refills and extra jalapeno slices with kinds words and a smile. The restaurant opened recently, and though the decor is modest - it is clean and somewhat modern. While my party dined in, it was apparent that this is also a very popular take-out restaurant as there were customers coming in and out of the door non-stop (good to know for next time so I can fill my Vietnamese craving and sit on my couch in my PJs). For dessert we splurged and had the Chai bubble tea. It was a sweet closing to a nice and casual Saturday meal.

I'm not an expert, but damnit if I know anything, it's pho. I've been to many many many pho restaurants from here on the east coast, to Cali and many in Hawaii. So, I was shocked after finding this gem with the most delicious beef broth. Veggies were crisp and delicious, broth tasty and summer rolls and peanut sauce pretty darn good. To top it off, an iced coffee and my jeans officially, will not zip.

Soup is great...I get the #1 pho and spring rolls all the time. They have come along way since they first opened. Glad i went back when my friend told me their improved their soup. Its great that they are located so close to me. I used to have to go to Glen Burnie where it wasn't always easy to get parking.

Flawless chicken pho, great fast friendly service, nice decor, and very affordable. I am so happy to have quality pho in town.

Best Pho' I've had in Maryland. Also very convenient to Pasadena. Price is right too. We usually get summer rolls, 2 small phos and tea for under $20. They beef is raw and cooks in the broth. Sign of a pho' place doing it right. Take out is also a good option. The do a good job of packing all the pho' ingredients separately so it's fresh when you get it home.

This place looks and clean. Little bit of a communication error, but I will not hold that against them. Food came out fast. Will most likely come back.

I wouldn't normally give four stars after waiting 45 minutes for a carry out order that was promised in 15, but that's how fresh and consistent the food is here. Good things come to those who wait. I've never dined in, and after my last pick up, I probably never will - front of house service does not appear to be a strength. Four stars for the food alone (very affordable, by the way) - I really hope this place survives long term.

Mmm! Can't go wrong, have had lots of delicious food from here. The prices are reasonable & the portion sizes are large.

Came here earlier in the week after researching to see where the Pho was at after moving here from California.. the chicken pho was as many have said, rather bland but passable I guess. I figured I would give then another try. Service is not good. I stood by the front door for almost ten minutes without even being acknowledged......finally just left. The Pho isn't that good to make up for the crappy service. On to the next one on the very short list for this area. Man some Pho restauranteurs from the Bay area could move here and clean up, showing them how it's supposed to be done. This is the Minor leagues....

Loved it! Got the Pho and even though its not on the menu, you can ask for kids pho for $3.99! Good service, nice atmosphere, delicious healthy portions!!! Will be back!

Hands down the best food I've had in town in a very long time. Not to mention the place was full at 12 pm. I stopped by for lunch today and was amazed at how Live Pho was clean, welcoming, and delicious! I had the dry noodle bowl with grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, sliced egg roll, and a fantastic side of fish sauce. Everything was fresh and full of excellent flavors. This at first might seem like an unlikely pairing with Severna Park, but is clearly a first choice dinning option.

This was my first time eating at a Vietnamese restaurant and it was...interesting. I love spicy food so I ordered their spicy noodle soup. They confirmed thatI I wanted it spicy and of course I said yes...BIG MISTAKE! This bowl of spicy lava soup greated me in short order. It was good but very spicy. I tried some of my girlfriend's pork dish and it was very good. I would go back but I wouldn't order anything that says spicy.

Very happy a good pho joint opened up in the neighborhood, so we don't have to travel. Only wish the menu was a little more extensive. Love it.

Amazing soup. Great quality. Only complaint, if you don't want pho soup, entrées are small and bland. If your going for the soup it's the best!

Friendly staff, fresh tasty food, and great prices. I had the beef Pho and my wife had a beef/noodle/veggie combo with an egg roll -- the funny thing was, the server mixed our order up with another table so we ended up with slightly altered versions of what we ordered. Luckily, it wasn't far off the mark and we really didn't care because everything tasted so fresh and sooo good. Everything on their menu comes in a kids size for around $3.99. Our daughter had a seafood noodle soup and and son had grilled shrimp and noodles. I'm sure they would've rather had a cheeseburger but -really- everything was really good. Nice to finally have a good Pho place close to home!

my wife and i love pho, and we both agree this is the best we've ever had. we had brisket and rare steak pho. hands down the most meat in any pho we've ever had. the place is super clean, and the staff is super happy and helpful. wish we lived closer so we could eat there more often.

Great food, large portions, reasonable prices. The pho soup is excellent. There are many soup choices. Even a small bowl is huge. The appetizers such as the fresh summer roll, marinated beef salad, and beef stuffed grape leaves are also quite good. They give discounts for military and Anne Arundel Community College students too.

Best pho around ... Great value and even better taste. While the decor is not phenomenal it is fine and fun ... Give it a try and enjoy authentic pho at a reasonable price.

Best pho in the state of Maryland I think. I've eaten pho almost everywhere I go and this is one of the best Pho places I've ever eaten at.

I went to lunch here with a friend for my first visit. We each ordered Summer Rolls, containing shrimp and crispy vegetables, which were great. They came with a creamy dipping sauce with peanuts in it, which tasted divine! My friend and I both had #47, the grilled shrimp and steamed rice, with a dipping sauce that seemed typical of Indonesian restaurants. We liked the lunch very much. I wanted hot Jasmine tea. Strangely, they were not serving it, but I got iced Jasmine tea. Our bill came to $30. We noticed that all 12 tables were full, and the service was a bit sluggish. At one point a server tried to bring us two orders of soup, which we never ordered. I am not snotty enough to hold this against a restaurant, but perhaps if business continues to be this good, the management should consider hiring more help. It is good to see a small restaurant apparently succeeding after just starting! I look forward to coming back a second time, and to more visits after that!

wow! What an authentic takeout meal we had! Being Vietnamese, I had reservations about this place. but the Grilled pork with vermicelli that hubbie had was very lemon grassy and good that we were won over. the chicken pho was so light and not salty, yet very filling with its big portion. Kids devoured the spring rolls (fried) which they said were like their grandmom's. So glad we can get Vietnamese whenever we want, that's SOLID, without having to wait to go to Northern VA.

Just had some pho and vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll. The pho was good and the vermicelli was surprisingly light and very tasty. The decor was nice and the wait staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. I am going again for lunch tomorrow.

I'd never had Vietnamese before, but thought it sounded interesting. My mother and I both agreed it was good, but nothing special. Now, I wholeheartedly admit, we had no idea what we were doing. I hear I should have but more spices in my pho. So, I do plan on going back some time and trying it again. One major downside is not fountain drinks, at least when I was there. Sodas come canned, which is kind of a hassle.

Opening day, so our first visit to Life Pho. Vietnamese food in Severna Park? Why would they pick Severna Park, of all places? Sometimes, it's better not to ask why, but to just go with the flow. In this case, flow on over to Life Pho, which on opening night served up one of the best Vietnamese meals I have ever eaten. I so wish I could tell you the proper names of what my two kids and I ate, but I am woefully unprepared. My daughter got some bun thing with grilled shrimp and pork. Amazing. My son, got a pho that was beef-based with Vietnamese meatballs. Wonderful. I got another pho with squid and shrimp. On the side was a huge serving of sprouts, basil, and sliced jalapenos. Add a little rooster (sriracha) sauce and it was heaven on earth. The service was super-friendly and efficient. The decor was nice...my daughter thought some of the photographs on the wall were a bit odd, but it all worked for me. We are in love with Live Pho and will be back often.
